    Another way to look at it is that they ground nebulous memories in reality. Memories have the tendancy to morph and ripple. Photographs can sometimes be islands of reality in a lake of boasting, exaggeration, and forgetfullness.

    I photoshopped digitally added physically impossible objects into every single one of those photographs, so none of them represent reality.
