Today in 1495, the Friar John Cor made almost 1500 bottles of scotch whiskey from fourty-eight bushels of malt and thus distilled the first recorded batch. Happy birthday, my amber friend.
(Also, happy birthday to my father-in-law.)

I hate scotch. It makes me want to vomit.
I’ve got one of the first 1500 bottles right here < swig > *hic*
Chris: More for me.
I know old scotch is generally gooder, but is that true indefinitely? Would 500-year-old scotch be a transcendant experience? Or would it taste like dirt?
Doesn’t it peak at 20 years?
