Timeline:
- Late 1999 - Purchased case. It housed my Athlon 800 desktop for almost five years.
- 13 Aug 2004 - Ordered motherboard, CPU, and memory from ZipZoomFly. Ordered video card from NewEgg.
- 18 Aug 2004 - Bought a cheap power supply from CompUSA. Presumably, this evening, the machine was working.
- 21 Dec 2004 - Got the Hard Drive as a gift.
- 21 Dec 2005 - Got the LCD screen as a gift.
- 31 Jan 2006 - RMA'd motherboard (it stopped POSTing)
- 17 Feb 2006 - Got a new motherboard in return from MSI. That apparently wasn't the broken part, since it's still not working. I suspect the power supply or the CPU.
- 19 Feb 2006 - Purchased a new power supply from CompUSA. Fixed!
- 27 Feb 2006 - Ordered DVD±RW from NewEgg
